Invitation: ETUG Extraordinary General Meeting on 7 December 2023 16:00-17:00 (CET)

We are pleased to invite ETUG members to attend ETUG’s Extraordinary General Meeting, which will be held virtually on 7 December 2023 from 16:00 to 17:00 CET. In the event that there is not a quorum at 16.00 CET, under Article 9 paras. 6 and 7 of the ETUG statutes (i.e. less than one-half of the members (or their representatives) with voting rights in attendance), the meeting will be reconvened thirty minutes later, with quorum consisting of all members (or their representatives) with voting rights who are present at that time.

Members will receive a link to participate at the Extraordinary General Meeting by e-mail (as permitted under Article 9 para. 3 of the ETUG Statutes).

Agenda:

  1. Welcome and approval of the agenda.
  2. Reports by the acting Chairperson and Deputy Chairperson, also in their respective capacities as Secretary General and Treasurer.
  3. Approval of the Acts of the Acting Board.
  4. Election of:
    • Chairperson
    • Deputy Chairperson
    • Internal Auditors (2 positions).
  5. Outlook to 2024/2025.
    • ETUG 2024 – virtual conference
    • Working group activities
    • Call for content for ETUG website
  6. Any other competent business (including suggested items mentioned in item 1).

To help with the preparation of the EGM, we would kindly request points to be covered under point 6 (AOCB) to be submitted by e-mail to the Steering Committee (all members of the Steering Committee were copied into the invitation e-mail) in advance of the meeting.

In the event that you are unable to attend the EGM and wish a representative to vote on your behalf, please also advise the Steering Committee about this by e-mail.
