Two weeks ago, 40 participants gathered in Vienna at Seminarwerkstatt for ETUG 2025. Two days talking about all things Trados flew by. We have tried to bring the key points together in the conference summary. There was a particular focus on translation productivity, the Trados Cloud, and Terminology and AI at ETUG 2025. There were a number of use cases with live demonstrations. In addition, we had a panel session on the challenges presented by AI, and another World Café session, which was a successful innovation at ETUG 2023.
We have published the Conference Summary here on our website, which is available to all visitors. In addition, conference participants can also download the presentations from ETUG 2025 from a password-protected page. Mails have gone out to participants with the password and a feedback form. Please take a couple of minutes to give us feedback, so we can improve future events.
Thank you to all speakers and participants from around Europe. We were pleased to welcome participants from as far away as Belgium, Spain, Croatia and Greece. As ever we welcomed new participants and returning participants from previous events. Particular thanks also to Daniel Brockmann and Luis Lopes from RWS for their contributions to the conference. And special thanks to Cornelia Ilg, for her organisation work remotely to ensure the conference was a great success.
Planning will begin for ETUG’s Bitesize Sessions in 2026 very shortly. If you have ideas for topics to cover, please contact us! Similarly if you have colleagues or like-minded contacts who you think might be interested in ETUG’s activities, feel free to put them in touch. Last but not least, follow ETUG on LinkedIn!
